NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (Mar. 30, 2022) Navy Lt. Marisa St. Clair, assigned to the aircraft carrier Pre-Commissioning Unit (PCU) John F. Kennedy (CVN 79) receives a farewell salute from Capt. Todd Marzano , commanding officer, during a ring-off ceremony aboard the ship. John F. Kennedy is the second Ford-class aircraft carrier and is under construction at the Huntington Ingalls Industries Newport News Shipyard.
