Leaf. Close-up of a green leaf covered in droplets of water. The main function of a leaf is as a food manufacturing organ for the plant. The veins (light green) contain vascular bundles which transport liquid food and water to and from the leaf. Smaller veins branch off the main vein, and these branch in turn creating an elaborate network.
