The Multiple Disk Type The multiple disk clutch is regarded by many Americanengineers as the best of all types for both passenger carand truck service, as is evidenced by the fact that it isused on nearly all of the more expensive cars producedhere. This type of clutch has apparently been developedto a higher degree here than in Europe, while these othertypes, as previously pointed out, have seen the greater de-velopment.
