(21) If a nurse is far from her base of supplies, and hasto improvise a gown in a hurry, it may easily be done asfollows: Take one large sheet and fold the long edgeover about 12 inches. Mark the center of this fold to goover the breast. Make plaits facing to the center allalong this fold, reducing the gown in size to fit the shoulderswith large safety-pins or bastings.
