Celebrations in the Duomo Square after the candidate Giuliano Pisapia, centre-Left criminal lawyer, beat Litizia Moratti by a convincing 55 per cent to become the Mayor of Milan. Thousands of Italian people took to the streets to celebrate into the night, with a political rally taking place in Duomo Square.
