The Birmingham Pride festival is held over the weekend of Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th September 2022. The festival plays a leading role in building a community where all people are free to live without fear or prejudice. We strive for equality for all as part of an evolving global pride movement. Our year round projects and partnerships are focussed on improving the lives of, and empowering the LGBTQ+ community in Birmingham and the wider West Midlands. We are committed to challenging injustices, inequality and discrimination for all of our community. Birmingham Pride weekend is the climax of year round activity, where we all come together to celebrate LGBTQ+ achievement, life and love. A ‘safe space’ where our community can be who they want to be without fear or prejudice. Birmingham Pride has supported numerous LGBTQ+ community groups, charities and events since 2014, raising funds for much needed services within our community. It has awarded in excess of £353,000 and provided additional, accessible subsidies in excess of £190,000.
