A sabre for a Hungarian magnate, 19th century. Blade with a T-shape reinforced back with a broadened, double-edged point. Ornamentally engraved hilt of nickel silver with a garnet (cracked) set on the viewing side of the quillons. Velvet-covered wooden scabbard (defects) with fittings of German silver engraved en suite and openwork adornements set with turquoise cabochons and other stones on the viewing side.
