A Niva Jeep at Hauganes, a small village on Eyjafjordur to the north of Akureyri in northern Iceland.
Fishing has traditionally been an important industry in Hauganes and since 2000 it has been the site of the abalone farm of Haliotis Iceland Ltd. The town is now also popular as a tourist destination for Whale-watching and sea fishing. There are also bird-watching trips to the nearby islands of Hrisey and Grimsey.
