The SPIRAL TRUCK BEARING consists of an iron shell, in which askeleton bronze lining, in a spiral form, is held in place by anti-friction assist in meeting the decrease in bear-ing surface when a new bearing is placedon a much worn journal, the anti-frictionmetal is poured so as to form a coatingover the whole surface of the bearing,about one-sixteenth of an inch thick. Spiral Bearings do not cut the jour-nals but insure an even and minimumwear. A special feature of the SpiralBearings is their absolute safety.
