The stainless steel globe, on the right side of the view, was placed in front of the Trump International Hotel by Donald Trump as a symbol of internationalism. It faces the statue of Christopher Columbus (behind the camera, built in 1892 to celebrate the 400th anniversary of the Discovery of America. The Frederick Hall, opened in October 2004 inside the Times Warner Centre, is a 1233 seats theatre, used by Jazz at Lincoln Centre for the Performing Arts. JALC's Rose Hall is located at West 60th Street and Broadway, adjacent to Columbus Circle.
