View SE of the Druids' Circle, Penmaenmawr, North Wales: an oval of around 30 granite stones standing in a rubble bank aligned ESE-WNW. The collapsed entrance of 4 portals at the WSW (R) points to the major southern moonset while the long axis is aligned on May Day sunset. Being close to the stone axe factory at Penmaenmawr the site may be Neolithic in origin, but two child cremations (possibly sacrifices) were buried in Bronze Age pots (food-vessels) at the centre of the oval.
