Iron Age Broch on Mousa Island, Shetland

Looking across Mousa Sound to Mousa Island from the Shetland mainland near Camperdown, Sandwick. In the centre is the Iron Age Broch, a kind of roundhouse only found in Scotland. This is apparently the best preserved of them all. It is 13m tall and has twin walls with a staircase between them. Though to have been built around 300BC
