For lack of space, however,we can comment on the following only. The Item, Pasidena, California, December number, isa very attractive and well gotten-up number. How Has-san Found the King is a beautiful story. The ExcitingAdventures of a Boob is very funny and illustrations are good. There seems to be too manyjokes, and one or two are a little old. Taken as a whole,though, they are very original. The Item for January is a well arranged and well got-ten-up magazine. The cover is very attractive and addsgreatly to the appearance; also the wood cuts which in-troduce the stories. All On Account of a Box is a de-lightful story and well written. We would like to know ifNoodles Fagan told the joke entitled He Fooled Herin your school. We noticed some typographical errors, butconsidering that the students themselves printed this n
