It should not be assumed that we hadunusually good luck, for we had ourtroubles. For instance, flume troubleoccurred at one of our large plants. Farfrom being dismayed or discouraged, how-ever, the reduced local force was volun-tarily augmented by every able-bodied manavailable, whether lineman or clerk, and arecord was established in restoring thisheavy flume structure, one of the heaviestin the West, within sixty hours. Boiler troubles occurred.
