Norway now has privately owned electric railwaysystems as follows: Hafslund-Sunnesund (transport),Christiania-Hohnkollen, Thamshavn-Lokken, Notodden-Tinoset and Rollag-Staalheim. J. An illustration of this train isshown on plate XXXVIII in the Convention Section. Thediagrams here reproduced show the wiring of the train andthe motor connections. The train consists of two double-truck closed single-endcars, with 25-ft. bodies and prepayment platforms. On eachtruck is mounted one GE-57 motor of 50 hp. The leadingcar is equipped with a K-35 controller, through which allfour motors are operated, while the trailer car is fitted with a K-11 controlleron the front plat-form, throughwhich the twomotors under thetrailer may be op-erated when thetrailer is detachedand run as an indi-vidual unit.
