As given in the generic descrip- tion. No major differences between males and females. Measurements as given in Table 26 and Table 27. Unknown. Larva. Unknown. Habitat. Discovered near a lowland river in stagnant ponds covered by plant carpets. Distribution. Known from the locus t)^picus near New Delhi (India) only. Derivatio nominis. The name for the genus refers to the paddle-like IV-L-6, the name given to the species refers to the water hyacinth {Eichhomia crassipes) which was abundant at the collection site.
