MAYPORT, FL. (May 25, 2017) – Midshipman 1st Class Jacob T. Burke, a student of the University of Pittsburgh, heaves a mooring line in the forecastle aboard the amphibious assault ship USS Iwo Jima (LHD 7) as the ship pulls into her homeport. Iwo Jima returned from conducting routine operations at sea following the completion of a continuous maintenance availability period.
