It is claimed that they are far less likely to become diseasedthan are the legs and feet of the heavy draft horses of other legs have a little long hair, but much less than some of the other draftbreeds. Other names were frequently applied to horses of this breed when theywere first imported, but after the establishment of the Percheron stud book.
