A short rifle, Baader and Son, Munich, circa 1870. Octagonal, rifled barrel in 12 mm calibre. Bright bore, good land/groove profile, a small rust spot near the muzzle. Proof mark and maker's inscription, "Baader u. Sohn in München" on top of the barrel. Oberhammer lock system. Peep sight, breech block, lock plate, cock, and tang bear fine vine engravings.
