The personification of Dutch freedom, depicted with hat on stick, the Dutch lion and standard of Prince Willem IV, receives the personification of the century that has descended from the clouds. Above the throne are busts of the city holders, at the feet of the freedom lies the enemy defeated during the rebellion: the Catholic Church.
