Marine Sergeant Robert S. Sabo is seen embracing his scout dog, Hans, at the 1st Medical Battalion, 1st Marine Division, in Vietnam in 1968. Sergeant Sabo had been wounded while on patrol with Hans, but they were happily reunited.
