Detroit, Michigan - The graves of four of the five unemployed workers shot to death by police and Ford security guards during the 1932 Ford Hunger March. The fifth victim, Curtis Williams, was not allowed burial in the segregated cemetery because he was black. In 1992, the United Auto Workers installed grave markers for Joe York, Joseph Bussell, Joe DeBlasio, and Kalman Leny, and a cenotaph for Williams.
