Guru Arjun Dev is the fifth Guru of the Sikhs. He was the youngest son of Guru Ramdas. He laid the foundations of the Golden Temple which is built in the pool built by his father. Guru Arjun is most famous for collecting together the hymns of the first four Gurus and other writers. He compiled the Granth Sahib and the Sukhmani prayer - the treasure of peace.
