He wasnext present at the unsuccessful siege of Bhurtpore, from 4thJanuary to the 22nd Eebruary, 1805, when there were fourassaults with a loss of 103 officers and 3,100 men killed andwounded out of 10,000 engaged, hi the following campaignGeorge Pollock commanded a field battery of six 6-pounders,and was employed in the pursuit of Holkar.
