ŚWIĘTOSZÓW, Poland (Feb. 6, 2019) - Vincent “” Lawrence, the Commander-in-Chief of the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the , prepares to accompany the crew of an M2 Bradley fighting vehicle belonging to the 1st Squadron, 4th Cavalry Regiment out of Fort Riley, Kan., on a live-fire exercise at a firing range near Świętoszów. As commander of the VFW, Lawrence personally visited the soldiers of the 1-4 Cavalry while mobilized in an effort to better understand the training environment and living conditions of the troops stationed overseas in support of Operation Atlantic Resolve.
