There is a large and increasing demand for bay trees, and they are being used more and more from year to year. There is nothing so effective for deeorating'entranee halls, piazzas, hotels, Italian gardens, and inclosed courts, and they are always in keeping with such surroundings. We' have on hand at all times a large stock of fine plants, perfect-shaned specimens of various sizes. Standards and Pyramids, about 3 ft. in diameter, 7 ft. high, each; about 3J6ft, in diameter, 7 ft. nigh, each. Standards, about 4 ft. in diameter, each; 5 to 6 ft. in diameter, Boxwood Pyramidal Box. Trimmed in Pyramidal and Standard, or Tree, Form. There is a large demand for these beautiful decorative plants. They make beautiful specimens, foliage being dark olive green, and are desirable for many purposes, as they are not as expensive as bay trees, and can be used where bay trees are not admissible, as, on account of their hardiness, they will stand frost and cold. They are not only used as decorative plants for the same purpose as bay trees, but are also used in formal outdoor planting, being perfectly hardy. Plants are sheared in beautiful pyramidal specimens and also in standard, or tree, form. The standards, or tree- shaped plants, stand about three feet high above the ground.
