The flower of "Flame of the forest", "Thong Kwao" (Butea monosperma (Lam.) Taub.). Phimai or "Vimayapura" was built in 11th century in the Mahayana Buddhism style and housed the respected image of Kamrateng Jagata Vimaya, which is believed to be an image of the Lord Buddha.
