5TH FLEET AREA OF OPERATIONS (April 30, 2017) An AS-332 Super Puma helicopter takes off from the flight deck of the Military Sealift Command fleet replenishment oiler USNS Washington Chambers (T-AKE 11) to deliver supplies to guided-missile destroyer USS Truxtun (DDG 103) during a vertical replenishment. Truxtun is deployed to the 5th Fleet area of operations in support of maritime security operations designed to reassure allies and partners and preserve the freedom of navigation and the free flow of commerce in the region.
