Scotland Highlands Glencoe lochan with the pap of Glencoe


The A82 runs from Tydrum past Rannoch Moor and through the stunning Glen Coe valley an area of scenic and wild beauty to the village of Glencoe. A popular route for tourists, coach tours and hill and mountain walkers there are laybays frequented by traditional pipers ready to be photographed against the traditional scottish mountain backdrop. A newly built eco-friendly visitors centre is of architectural interest. The National Trust for Scotland looks after some of the land here, Glencoe is a popular film This is where The Highlander went to live and it was also used in Rob Roy and numerous television takes place at White Corries opposite the Kings House Coe the Glen of Weeping has 90 inches of rainfall each year. An air of mystery, cloud-veiled rockfaces,deep gullies and precipitous summits. At all times the glen has an abundance of pleasures to offer. The scenery is outstanding and attracts many photographers, walkers ,climbers.
