INDIAN OCEAN (Sept. 13, 2018) Sailors raise the jack staff on the forecastle of the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Michael Murphy (DDG 112) as it sails alongside HMAS Newcastle (FFG 06) following the at-sea phase of the Australian exercise, Kakadu 2018. Michael Murphy is participating in exercise Kakadu 2018 to enhance maritime security skills with participating nations by highlighting the value of information sharing and multilateral coordination.
