NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (Oct. 1, 2018) Lt. Cmdr. Angela Domingos, from Columbia, Maryland, assigned to USS Gerald R. Ford's (CVN 78) operations department, receives her Navy and Marine Corps Commendation medal from Cmdr. Jeremy Vaughan, Ford's operations officer, during an awards-at-quarters held in the ship's forecastle. Ford is currently undergoing its post-shakedown availability at Huntington Ingalls Industries-Newport News Shipbuilding.
