Ravens in a lambing field at Kirkhill farm, Caithness, Scotland. Raven are have been responsible for killing lambs and ewes on farms during the lambing season in the Caithnees area. Farmers in the area are calling for a general licence from Scottish Natural Heritage (SNH) to enable them to shoot the birds which are protected under the Wildlife and Countryside Act of 1981.
