The species are found in the Andes of Ecuador and Peru, descending to the sea-level in Chili and Pata- gonia. Agriomis is said to breed among the rocks, making a deep cup-shaped nest, and laying •white brown-spotted eggs, like those of the European Oriole (cf. Phil, et Landb. Wiegm. Arch. 1
