INTERNATIONAL MALLEABLE IRON COMPANY The International Malleable Iron Co.,Limited, Guelph, Ont., is an institutionof which Canada may well be proud. Thisis an offspring of the Illinois MalleableIron Co. and has been in operation since1913. It was not a small plant to be-gin with but it was much smaller thantoday. Each year has seen additionsand improvements added until it is atpresent one of the most complete malle-able iron foundries on the continent. In July, 1913, this newly organizedCanadian Corporation began operationson what had previously been a vacantfield on the outskirts of the city ofGuelph. Now that entire district is cov-ered with foundries and factories of dif-ferent kinds. The original buildings in-cluded a foundry department four hund-red and fifty feet in length; a two storybuilding which housed the machine shopon the first floor and the
