The spire of St Bride's Church, Fleet Street, London
St Bride's was designed by Sir Christopher Wren and is famous for its spire, built in 1701-3. It is reputed to have been the inspiration for the multi-tiered wedding cake. and, at 226 ft, it is the highest of all Wren's spires.
