The contract for this bridge was taken on June 6, lMO. with the under-standing that the structure sin mid be finished within twenty days, or byJune 26, 1910. At the time of taking this contract the plans for the structure had notbeen made. John B. Leonard, the consulting engineer, was the designer of thestructure, while the Pacific Rolling Mill Company furnished all the steel,castings and bolts. The Hume-Bennett Lumber Company furnished allthe material for the false work.
