The old standard sort, being from ten to twelve days earlier than the old Blood Turnip. The roots are large in size, and of a rich, deep crimson color. Of handsome round shape, very deep blood red in color, and exceed- ingly sweet and tender in quality. They mature early, and have given the very best satisfaction as a bunch beet. Per pkt. 5 cts., oz. 8 cts., ^4 lb. 15 cts., lb 60 Market Gardeners' Beet MARKET GARDENERS'. This variety is an ideal "Market Gardener's Beet, with small tap-root and but few fibrous roots; color deep blood-red. When cooked they are dark red, fine grained and unsurpassed in quality.
