Birmingham, UK - 1 March 2008 Looking to me like a grounded flying saucer, the ultra-modern Selfridges Building in Birmingham has become an instant landmark for the city. Already a distinctive edifice, I then got a bit adventurous and transformed the image into something more colourful and abstract, using a combination of Photoshop techniques including image folding, rotation, multi-layer blending, transformations and gradient mapping.
