Fichtenberg as interests of this company extend from Virginia intoTexas, with theaters in most of the important cities. Twohouses of this organization in New Orleans are the Alamoand the Dreamworld. The programs, which are changedthree or four times a week, consist of three reels, twosingers and a three-piece orchestra. It is a ten-cent showthat is worth the money; but patrons are given a cardwhich, upon presentation at the box office during certainhours, reduces the admission to a nickel. The audienceshere are first class and capacity houses are the rule. While not having the opportunity of meeting Mr. Fichten-. MR. H. FITCHENBERG berg, I saw several of his theater managers. With Mr. Good-man, of the Alamo, I had perhaps the longest appointments of this theater are worthy of commenda-tion. Manager Fichtenberg is not content to stand still, buthe is even now building commodious and attractive housesin Lynchburg, Va., and Houston, Texas. Of the latter will be placed as manager.
