Downtown Reykjavík, Iceland, 23/01/2009: Sigridur Ingibjorg Ingadottir, is the only one who resigned from the board of directors of the Icelandic Central Bank and apologized to the Icelandic nation for letting them down. Parts of the Icelandic public have arranged protests against the Central Bank, the Parliament and the government's alleged lack of responsibility before and after the crisis, attracting between 3000 and 6000 people (1–2% of Iceland's population) on Saturdays.
