Duomo statue in Milan looking over the city and taken from the roof terrace. The Doumo construction began in 1386 by its patron, Antonio da Saluzzo. The cathedral was consecrated in 1418, yet wasn't finished until the 19th century. Napoleon who was King of Italy had the facade finished.
