Typhoon Hagupit locally know as Ruby with wind gusts over 240 kph (150 mph) was expected to slam into the central Philippines Sunday morning. Landfall is expected within 100 miles of where Super Typhoon Haiyan made landfall last year whom left more than 7,300 people dead and missing in November last year.
