PREFACE. Just one year ago my first annual report was issued, and I promisedthen, I would try and issue this, the second hy July 21st, 1907. I havetried very hard to keep that promise. At the time the first report was issued, or prior thereto, very littlewas known of the Cape wells or Capwells; most families not knowingnor ever having heard of anyone hy the name except themselves: andto them the first annual report was quite a revelation. This is attestedhy the many letters which have been sent in. Other families had heardin a vague way of some one, somewhere hy their name, wondered for awhile, and let their curiosity die out, which fortunatelygenealogicalhera02cape
