Portrait of Gregory Harbaugh (), American astronaut. Harbaugh has a bachelor's degree in Aeronautical and Astronautical Science (Purdue, 1978) and a master's degree in Physical Science (University of Houston, 1986). He was accepted as an astronaut in 1987, having worked in mission support for most of the Shuttle flights before the Challenger disaster. Harbaugh is designated as a Mission Specialist, and is qualified for extravehicular activity. His previous Shuttle flights were STS-39 (1991) and STS-54 (1993).
