Hold thesink up against the wall so that the faucetholes come exactly opposite the tees of thesupply pipes you have already put in. Ifyou have not yet put in tin* supply pipes,get the proper height from page 39. Thenmark on the wall where the top of the sinkcomes, and also the center points of thetwo projections on the sink back which areto fit into the hangers. Then nail or screwthe board tightly to the wall in such a. position that the hangers when placedover the board will have the centers of theirtops on the marks showing the center ofthe sink catches. Be sure to nail or screwthe board into the studding and not simplyinto the laths. Then place the hangers overthe board in the proper position to take thesink catches and screw the hangers firmlyto the board, as shown in Photo No. 17. Now unscrew the sink strainer from itscoupling and drop the strainer throughthe hole in the bottom of the sink. Slipthe rubber washer over the screw or nippleend of the strainer, which will extend downthrough the sink. Then screw the couplingup tight against the washer. After fastening the trainer in this way,hang the sink by hooking the lugs at thehack into the sockets of the hangers youhave attached to the wall. Then screwthe trap into the waste pipe tee you havealready placed in the wall, and connect theother end of I he trap I the nipple or tail-piece that come
