The picturesque mountains of Snowdonia remain open to locals only. Strongly opposing new advice from UK prime minister Boris Johnson, the Welsh Government urges the populace of Wales to continue to 'Stay at Home' keeping its borders firmly closed to visitors from neighbouring England. A family vehicle can be seen driving on the A498 approaching the Llanberis Pass junction during happier times, but this usually busy road to the base of Mount Snowdon is now a definite no-go to all visitors planning to border hop from England - regardless of how 'Alert' they may be staying.
