Lieu-tenant Chaille met instant death whileleading Company I in an attack againsta German strongpoint. He was marriedin June, 1917, to Miss Mae Harris of De-troit, who, with one son, Lambertson Har-old Chaille, Jr., aged two years, parents, Mr. and Mrs. U. M.
