Instead of having lungs, they have air-tubes that run through all parts of the body, andinstead of having a nose through which tobreathe, there are breathing openings along thesides of the body—a pair for each openings are protected in various ways, are many insects which live in the water, andthese breathe differently —rather more as fishes.
