Alkmaar. The emblem is derived from Alkmaar's municipal weapon. The spell Alcmaria Victrix refers to the role that the city played during the uprising. Alkmaar was the first city that spreads a siege. The castle refers the important role as a fortified city that gave the Dutch graves in the thirteenth century to Alkmaar for their fight against West Frisians. Logo lined by Alkmaar (1983-2000).
