Bride and groom descending the steps at Valaste Waterfall (Valaste Kosk) in Northern Estonia, the country's highest is traditional amongst local ethnic Russians to visit Valaste during their wedding celebrations. Once decsended in front of the waterfalls the couple attaches a padlock to the nearby railings inscribed with their names and the date of their wedding. They then proceed to throw away the keys signifying their commitment to each other for the rest of their lives.
